This Weekend: The Biggest Challenge Yet – And the Final Home Game of the Season

This is it, Pirates fans.

This weekend is absolutely massive—and we need every single one of you behind us.

For months now, the team has been putting in the graft. Under the guidance of Ian and Rab, we’ve been building momentum, tweaking plays, tightening defence, sharpening up front—and it’s paying off. The lads have been showing heart, drive, and serious firepower every time they hit the ice.

Yes, we didn’t manage to claw our way up the league table in time. But make no mistake—we are in the fight. The Play-Off Final Weekend is within reach. We can almost taste it.

Here’s where we stand:

• The Dundee Rockets have already secured their spot in the Final Weekend.

• We’ve played them twice. No wins—but we did take them to overtime, and that earned us a crucial point.

• Aberdeen Lynx have also played two games against the Rockets and came away with zero points.

That means we’re just one point ahead of Aberdeen. And only one team goes through.

This weekend, it’s us versus Aberdeen Lynx. Back-to-back games. One away, one at home. The outcome decides everything.

We’ve always had an electric rivalry with Lynx, and the atmosphere is second to none. So let’s raise the roof, drown out the nerves, and give the lads the noise they deserve.

Game 1: Saturday 12th April – Away at Aberdeen

We head to the Lynx Arena for the first showdown. If you’re travelling, be warned: Aberdeen games sell out fast. No ticket, no entry—please don’t make a wasted journey.

Game 2: Sunday 13th April – HOME at Braehead Arena

Our final home game of the season. This one is going to be special.

We need every drum, every shout, every roar from the stands. Let’s give the boys a send-off they’ll never forget—and make it a night to remember.
