Pirates Look Ahead: Home Opener vs Kirkcaldy Kestrels

The 2024/25 season is off to a flying start for your Paisley Pirates, as the boys brought home a 3–1 win against the Kirkcaldy Kestrels in Fife last weekend.

Goals from Calum Blair, Ryan Campbell, and Robbie Thomson sealed the victory, while Daniel McGowan earned himself a well-deserved Man of the Match for a strong performance between the pipes. A special shout-out goes to Ryan Campbell, who netted his first-ever Pirates goal — here’s hoping it’s the first of many!

Now, the attention turns to this Saturday, when the Pirates return home to Braehead Arena for their first game in front of the home crowd.

Important Info for Fans

• Entrance Point Has Changed: Fans must now enter via the Main Arena doors (between Popeyes and Pizza Hut), heading into the main food and beverage foyer. The old Ice Centre doors are no longer in use.

• Exit: After the game, fans will leave via the Boardwalk doors as before.

• Food & Drink: Braehead Arena facilities will be open, but they are now cashless (card only).

• Tickets & Extras: The Pirates are not cashless. Bring cash for tickets on the door, merchandise, and our ever-popular Chuck-a-Duck

• Please note: due to arena rule changes, the Supporters Club tuck shop is no longer available.
